William "Tom" Thomas Mills

William "Tom" Thomas Mills, 89, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024. He was born on August 23, 1934 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Veller and Mary Mills. Tom is also preceded in death by his son, William T. Mills, Jr.; his daughter, Carolyn Sue Norris; and his siblings, Mildred Mills, Charlotte Coffey, Roger Mills and Raymond "Doug" Mills.

Left to cherish Tom's memory is his loving wife of 67 years, Joyce Mills; children, Yolanda Barnes, Yvonne "Hope" Smith (Danny) and Ricky Mills, Sr. (Cheryl); siblings, Mike Mills, Donna Curtsinger (Paul), Mona Caple, Norma Caudill and Dale Mills; five grandchildren, Christy Applegate (Chad), Charity Brown (Quinton), Ricky Mills, Jr. (Jessica), Brian Mills (Genevieve) and Taricka Mills (Tyler); and eleven great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews and dear friends.

A visitation for William will be held Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, KY 40213. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Tom will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
