He is preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Mary Marshall; and brothers, Kenneth and Clyde Marshall.
Dub is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Dorothy "Dot" Marshall; a nephew, Joe Marshall; He is also survived by many cousins and extended family and friends.
A celebration of Dubs life will be conducted at noon, Monday, January 21, 2013 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd., with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be 1-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, January 20, 2013 and after 9 a.m. the day of the funeral.
