William Duane Kurz

William "Duane" Kurz, age 73, of Louisville, Kentucky, formerly of Pine Bluff, Arkansas passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021. Duane was born on January 11, 1948 to the late James Q. Kurz and Lenora J. Dale Kurz.

Duane retired from the US Army as a Sergeant First Class. He was an avid fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks! Woo Pig Sooie! Duane was a loving husband, brother, father and grandfather. He will be truly and dearly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Barbara "Joyce" Kurz; brother, Jim Kurz (Lori) of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; children, David Kurz (Tammy), Donald Kurz (Erin) of Louisville, Kentucky and Alisha Coker (Brent) of Cape Coral, Florida; the loves of his life, his seven grandchildren, Taylor, Bailey, Abigail, McKenna and Reagann Kurz all of Louisville, Kentucky and Gavin & Chloe Coker of Cape Coral, Florida.

A visitation for Duane will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218, with a service to honor the life of Duane to follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Duane will be laid to rest at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky.
