William J. Kappesser, age 81, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.
He was a retired warehouse manager for TriCity Oldsmobile and a driver for Honda World, a deacon at Harrison Lane Baptist Church and an US Army veteran.
Mr. Kappesser was preceded in rest by his wife, Jean; and a granddaughter, Lillie Forbes.
He is survived by a daughter, Melody Kappesser Lemery (Eric); a son, Kevin Flanders; grandchildren, Misti Poole (Tommy) and Tom Flanders; four great-grandchildren, Lillith, Ursula, Staley and Ayla.
His funeral will be on Tuesday at 12 noon at the Harrison Lane Baptist, 11005 Harrison Ln., Fairdale, with interment following in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2pm until 8pm at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway and at the church from 11am until the time of service.
