William "Bob" Coffey,89, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2015. He was born on September 13, 1925 in Glasgow, KY. He served in the Navy from 1944-1946 during World War II. He retired from Naval Ordnance Plant. His memberships include VFW State Color Guard, past Commander of VFW Post #1181 and a member of Post #5710 and American Legion Post #157.He was preceded in death by his son, Rodger, parents, two sisters and a brother.Survivors include his wife, Kathleen; grandson, Todd Coffey(Nikki); daughter-in-law, Peggy Coffey; great-granddaughter, Raina and two stepgreat-grandchildren, Bella and Tyler. His service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the W.G. Hardy Funeral Home and Cremation Services with burial in LouisvilleMemorial Gardens West. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
