Bill is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 66 years, Patsy Carby. Bill was the father to; Debbie (Pete) Thomas, David (Paula) Carby, Diana (Pat) Mayhall. PaPa to his 8 grandchildren, who were his pride and joy; Brent, Megan (Scott), Beth (Gabe), Scott, Leigh Anne, Mallory, Laura (Nick), Hillary (Alex) and to his 8 great-grandchildren; Madeline, Claire, Zara, Amelia, Keely, Davis, Gus and Ellie whom he adored and always brought hugs and smiles! He also leaves behind his sister; Jeannie Borders and brother, Wayne Carby.
Visitation for Bill will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 12:00pm-8:00pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven. A celebration of Bill’s life will take place on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 12:00pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Rd.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Green Acres Baptist Church, 5189 Poplar Level Rd. 40219.
