William "Bill" Lee Wyman

He served in the U.S. Navy, a former salesman for the old Belknap Hardware Company, a retired Captain for the Department of Corrections, a member of Parkland Baptist Church and was an avid U of L fan. Bill would wait for his best friend Porter to call him on game day for U of K score updates.

He is preceded in death by his parents Dr. E.W. Wyman and Barbara Wyman, brother; Buddy Wyman and a brother-in-law; Dale Stewart.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years; Joyce Vale Wyman, children; Leigh Ann Case (Mike) and Jeff Wyman (Lisa), grandchildren; Michael and Alyssa Case, Katie and Jacob Wyman, sisters; Ethel Lady (Porter) and Jayne Stewart, sister-in-law; Billie Jean Wyman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and his beloved pet rabbit Lucy.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted 10 am Wednesday, January 25, 2012 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven 4400 Bardstown Rd. with interment to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff KY. A visitation will be held 3-8 pm Tuesday, January 24, 2012.
