William “Bill” E. Wilson, 91 passed away Friday, January 15, 2021. Bill served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from Kentucky Office of Vocational Rehabilitation Commonwealth of Kentucky after 41 years of service in Supervision and Administration. Known as “Pop” by his grandchildren, he was the most kindhearted, gentle man that loved his family immensely and always put others needs before his. He was quick-witted and even in sickness could make you laugh. Bill was passionate about farming and would grow beautiful huge gardens.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, William Henry and Edrie Aileen Wilson; sister, Barbara Gathof.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 70 years, Nadine Dennis Wilson; children, Deana Wissing (Kris), Warren “Doug” Wilson (Jeanne); grandchildren, Kirstie Dalton (James), Brett Wilson; Sidney Wissing and his loving neighbor, Nikki Marasa Henderson.
The Funeral Service will be Friday, January 22, 2021 at 2pm at Evergreen Funeral Home with visitation on Friday from 12pm until the time of the service at the funeral home. Due to COVID the services will be limited to the family.
