Wayne was a retiree of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kentucky, a member of Buechel Park Baptist Church and an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Mildred Cooley, children, Donna Waddell (Jerry), Terry W. Cooley (Holly) and Tammy Cooley. Sister; Fern Cooley, Grandchildren, Miranda Waddell, Ben Cooley, Sarah Cooley, Zach Cooley and Jake Cooley. Great grandchildren, Quience and Dezi Waddell.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2011 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Road, with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 2-8 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 2011 and after 11 a.m. the day of the service.
