Wanda Lee Wooldridge

Wanda Lee Wooldridge, 90 of Highview, died at home on Monday, September 12th, 2016. She was a retired employee of Jefferson County Schools and a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, William E. Wooldridge, her parents, Nora and Everette Newton; brother William; and sisters Mildred and Esma. She is survived by her sister, Barbara (Jim) Johnson; Four children, William (Jan) Wooldridge, Marsha N. Nadeau, Karen (Gene) Cassaday and David (Miriam) Wooldridge; grandchildren Lisa, Sara, Brittany, and Abigail; and great-grandchildren, Alexys, Aimee, Nalayna, Evelyn, and many loving nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Comforcare and Hosparus for their loving care. The funeral service will be 10am Friday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, Okolona. Burial at Highland Memory Gardens, Mt. Washington, KY. Visitation Thursday 2-8pm and after 9am Friday until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Wesley Manor Healthcare Center and Hosparus of Louisville.
