Shadburne, Wanda Joy, 89, passed away October 24, 2017. She was a Kentucky Colonel, enjoyed traveling and playing golf. Wanda was employed with Reynolds Metals, a kindergarten teacher, worked for the Board of Dentistry, and Dillards.
She was preceded in death by her previous husbands, George Shadburne, Kenneth Wurfel, and Jack Wright; infant son, Paul Wayne Wright; parents, Sylvester and Loretta Riley; and siblings, Milburn, Buford, Raymond, Sylvester Jr., Alex, Eumanuel, Shirley, and Billy.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Dale Wright (Sherry), Joe Wright (Valerie), and Tonna Aspinall (Mark); grandchildren, Michelle Rankin (Cory), Dale Wright Jr., Jordan Patrick, Kristin Wright, Chase Patrick (Amanda), Rachel and Carley Wright; great-grandchildren, Brady and Avery Rankin; and siblings, Vivian Just (Herb) and Harry Riley (Betty).
A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 10 am at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 2-8 pm at the funeral home.
