She was born May 26, 1935 in Charleston, WV, the daughter of the late Archie and Reba Jacobson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Letendre and all of her siblings.
Wanda was a Professor at Morehead State University for many years and was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Huntington, WV.
Survivors include her children, Bruce Letendre, Greg Letendre, Kathy Scott and David Letendre (Karen) as well as six grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 7813 Shelbyville Rd. Louisville, KY 40222. Burial will follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
