Mr. Parrish was born in Adel, GA on November, 4, 1921. Pete served his country in World War II in the Merchant Marines. He was retired from Jeld-Wen Wenco. He was a member of the Middletown United Methodist Church, a Mason, the American Legion, the Secret Rite, and until recently the WOW's. He was an avid and loyal fan of the Louisville Stallions and St. Xavier Hockey teams.
Pete is survived by his daughters, Susan Senn (Keith), and Julie Wells (Barry) of Fort Mill, SC; his son Bill Parrish (Cindy) of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandchildren Elyssa and Olivia Parrish, McIntosh Wells, and Alex and Hunter Senn.
Alzheimer's Disease dementia is a brain disorder that affects thinking, awareness, behavior and the ability to function. We hope everyone remembers the great times with Pete prior to this debilitating disease.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Alzheimers Association.
Funeral services will be held for Pete on Friday at 2:00 PM at the Arch L. Heady @ Resthaven Funeral Home at 4400 Bardstown Road in Louisville. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 2:00PM on Friday at the Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.
