Walter N Fletcher Jr.

Walter N. Fletcher Jr. 89, of Louisville, passed away December 17, 2015. He was a retired employee of E & H Electric, a 15 year member of the Kentucky Army National Guard and a 15 year member of the St. Matthews Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Fletcher was also a member of the Scottish Rite, the American Legion Highland Post, VFW Post 0201 and Preston Masonic Lodge 281. He greatly enjoyed spending time with family and friends at Rough River Lake and at his second home in Fort Myers Beach, Florida.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Marion Fletcher and his son, Walter “Butch” Fletcher III.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Mike Fletcher (Robin) and Pat Fletcher (Donna); grandchildren, Daniel Wolz, Marina Shaw (Jeff), Gemma Dattilo, Kristin Fletcher and Jennifer Fletcher; great-grandchildren, Keegan, Noah, Regan, Landon, and Kaelin; and sister-in-law, Pat Nicholson.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday 2:00pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be after 12 noon Monday until the time of the service.

The family would like to request that memorial donations be directed to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
