Walter P. Figg Jr., 89, of Louisville passed away on October 29. He was the son of the late Walter P. and Clara Aiken Figg. He was a WWII veteran, and worked at GE Appliance Park before retiring in 1989. He was a member of the Huntington Park Congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses.
Walter is survived by his wife of 66 years, Norma McDowell Figg, his children Walter III, Jennifer ( Charles) Hawkins, Mary Hardin, Carla (Mark) Slusser and Bryan (Lisa) Figg, his grandchildren, Steven, Sarah, Whitney Ashleigh, Zachary, Hannah, and Emma, and his great granddaughter Camilla.
He was a kind loving and honest man and his family will cherish his memory.
A celebration of Walters Life will be 10 am Monday November 3, 2014 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, and visitation will be Sunday November 2 from 2-8pm at the funeral home.
