Walter Louis Beard, 78, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017. He was born in Larue County, Kentucky to the late Jesse and Emma Beard. Walter proudly served his country in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his wife of fifty years, Georgia Beard. Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Rose Drane and a host of many other family members and friends. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Walter will be Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 12pm in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son FH. 8519 Preston Hwy. Louisville, KY 40219 with burial to follow at Upton Cemetery in Hardin County Kentucky. Visitation will be the same day from 10am until the time of the service.
