Vollie Tommie White, born October 29, 1964, to Vera Bernice Hammond and James Alton White in Fairbanks, Alaska. He passed away in his sleep on June 29, 2021, at his residence in Valley Station, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vera and James and one son Joseph Alton White and his mother Becky Dowell Young. He is survived by his children, Brittanie Paige White of Louisville, KY and Joshua Ryan White of Sandy, Utah and 5 grandchildren. His siblings Ina Bernice Fierle (Doug) Louisville, KY, Victor Alton White (Laura) Bristol, VA, Bonnie Ann Varney of Louisville, KY and Robert Allen White (Kimberly) of Louisville, KY. Several nieces and nephews, Brent, John, Victoria, Christina, Amanda, Whitney, Brandon, Justin, Jacob and Kassidy. Tommie was full of life. Had a heart of gold, he loved Nascar – favorite Mark Martin, motorcycles, bowling, fishing and let us not forget Pittsburgh “STEELERS” and the Kentucky “Wildcats”. He LOVED Reba McEntire!! 4TH of JULY was his favorite holiday! Loved shooting off the fireworks! Advantage Funeral Home – Hardy Chapel was entrusted to handle the arrangements for the White family.
