Virginia Lee Gambrell Hyde

She was born in Manchester KY. Virginia was a registered nurse, worked for Caritas, formerly Sts Mary and Elizabeth Hospital, and a member of Ninth and O Baptist church.

She is preceded in death by her husband; Carl F. Hyde Sr., parents; Robert and Sophia Gambrell, brothers; William “Bill” and Kenny Gambrell and a sister; Gladys Smith.

She is survived by her two sons; Carl F. Hyde Jr. (Debi), Gregory Louis Hyde (Deanna), one daughter; Janice C. Westlund. Seven grandchildren; Courtney and Nick Hyde, Amber and Corey Hyde, Allison and Paul Miller and Summer Westlund. Three brothers; Bobby and Franklin and Carl (Rudy) Gambrel, two sisters; Joyce Bergstrom and Lucille Hyde. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted 2 pm, Tuesday, February 21, 2012 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 2-8 pm Monday, February 20, 2012 and after 9 am the day of the service.
