Tom Kleinhenz

Tom was an avid outdoorsman that loved hunting, fishing, and tending to his garden. Tom was a transmission mechanic and jack of all trades. Tom loved his ’72 Mach 1 Mustang, dancing, watching UK sports and spending time with his family and friends, especially his great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Alberta Kleinhenz and brothers, George Jr., Bernie, John Paul and Gerald.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, JoAnn Boyd Kleinhenz, their children, Jill Lun (Kevin), Alex Kleinhenz (Teresa). He is also survived by grandchildren, Katrina Lun (Sean), Samantha Phillips (Michael), Taryn Kleinhenz (Matt), Morgan Kleinhenz, and Daniel Rivera, great grandchildren, Kenadi and Raegan. As well as his sisters, Carole Sheehan and Marie Barkley (Morry), a host of nieces and nephews but one who was more like a son than a nephew, Bill Clemons Jr.

A memorial visitation to celebrate Tom’s life will be held from 1-5pm on Saturday, June 15th, 2024 at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd, Louisville, KY 40222.
