Thomas (Tommy) R. Riggs, 81 of Springfield KY passed away at home with his family by his side, Sunday, April 9, 2017. He was born to the late John Edward and Mary Louise Riggs in Marion County Kentucky. He was the retired owner of Riggs Demolition Company in Louisville, KY. After retirement he moved to Springfield KY and farmed the family farm. Tommy was a 32 degree Mason and past Master of Pleasure Ridge Park Lodge. He was also a member of the Kosair Shrine. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Garry Riggs, Ann Riggs, and Steve Riggs; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a sister, Linda Thomas of Elizabethtown, KY. A funeral service will be held Friday , April 14, 2017 at 11am in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son FH. 8519 Preston Hwy. Louisville, KY 40219 with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
