Thomas Milburn, Jr., 89, of Louisville, KY passed away on October 27, 2020. He was born on February 15, 1931 in Springfield, KY to the late Thomas Milburn, Sr. and Mattie Milburn. He is also preceded in death by his siblings, RW, Ruby, Fanlou, Elizabeth and Leroy.
Thomas was an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan. He had a passion for watching sports, car races and western shows. He retired from General Electric Appliance Park after 37 years of service.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Rita Lois Milburn; children, Debby Gonterman (Joe), Cherie Osbourne, Terri Milburn, Danny Milburn and Jon Milburn (Pam); grandchildren, Tobie Osbourne, Scott Gonterman, Jamie Osbourne, Brittany Milburn, Mandie Gonterman, Kaitlyn Milburn and Alyssa Milburn; siblings, Shirley Monhollon (Jim), Alben Milburn (Donna), and Sue Howard; great-grandsons, Lane Masters and Kyler O’Connor.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9, 2020 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven (4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218), with a service to honor the life of Thomas to follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Thomas will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Park.
