Thomas J. Herm Sr., 75, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015. He was born November 15, 1939 in Louisville to the late Joseph and Mary Allgeier Herm. He was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungry for over 20yrs, Keswisk Democratic Club, and loved to fish and play the organ. “Derby Tom” was a collector, vendor and enthusiast of all things Derby.
He is survived by his three children and their spouses; Tammy and Darryl Olson, Joe and Paula Herm, Tim and Kelly Herm, eight grandchildren; Aaron, Landon, Ashley, Marina, Noah, Alex, Britta, and Bailey, six siblings; Pat, Donnie, Eddie, Cathy, Mary Jo, and Terry, the Nethery family, and a very good friend, Carl, also many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be conducted Wednesday, April 16, 2015 at 2:00pm in Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road with burial to follow in St. Michael Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and again Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
