Thomas Joseph Elbert, Sr., 90, of Louisville, Kentucky passed into the peaceful presence of his Lord on Christmas Day, Anno Domini 2020. A baptized and confirmed child of God, he lived his life to its fullest with strong faith in Christ Jesus. He kept his family close, even to the end.
Preceding him in death into eternal life are his parents, his son, his brother; and his loving wife of 62 years. He is survived by his three children, twelve grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. He will be missed by a host of friends and family.
The funeral will be at Divine Savior Lutheran Church in Shepherdsville on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 10:30 AM. Visitation will be the afternoon and evening before on January 1 from 4:00PM -7:00PM at Arch L. Heady Resthaven (4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, Kentucky 40218).
He will await the resurrection at Cave Hill Cemetery, Louisville, Kentucky.
Memorial contributions may be made to the music endowment at Divine Savior Lutheran Church (1025 N. Buckman St., Shepherdsville, Kentucky 40165).
