He was a member of St. Joe Hill Church in Indiana, while there, he was involved in the men's group and the Renew Group. He coached little league baseball, was a KY Colonel and was also a 3rd degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus.
Ted is survived by his wife of 33 years, Evelyn; his children, Jeff, Deborah (Mark), Steve (Stacey), Scott, Matt, and Laura; grandchildren, Meagan, Jordan, Nate, Blake, Justin and Jason; brother, Jim (Linda); sister, Linda (Jeff); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A memorial gathering will be noon Saturday prior to the service.
