Frances was born in Upton, Kentucky and lived in Louisville. Frances was a long-time resident of Okolona and retired from Brown Forman Distillery. She was a member of Okolona Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn T. Sheffield; parents, William Jennings Wood & Alberta Renfro; and her siblings, William T. Wood, Mary Higgason, Allene Hager, Franklin D. Wood, & Doris Berry.
Frances is survived by her daughter, Regina Clark (Dennis) of Duluth, MN, and her son, Glenn Kevin Sheffield (Joanne) of Louisville; sister, Betty Willard of Louisville; three grandchildren, Jason Clark, Michael Clark, & Laura Hoemberg; along with four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
Visitation Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 10am-12pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy. A Celebration of Frances’s Life will follow at 12pm Noon in the Arch L. Heady & Son Chapel with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
