Teresa has worked for Kohl's and Ford.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Mildred Emmons.
Teresa is survived by her husband of 18 years, Ricky Newman; daughters, Bridgette Hinton and Tiffany Newman (Justin Portman); grandchildren, Logan, K.C., Justin, and Jerry; siblings, Kim Emmons, Douglas Emmons, and Melissa Scott.
Visitation will be from 1-7pm on Monday, July 15, 2013 at Evergreen Funeral Home, with a funeral service to follow at 7pm to celebrate the life of Teresa.
Interment will be in Mt. Tabor United Methodist Cemetery in Crestwood.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be directed to American Cancer Society or World Wildlife Foundation.
