Taylor Cox

Taylor Cox, 75, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on July 4, 2024 with his family by his side. Taylor served our country in the US Army in the Vietnam War. He retired from CSX Railroad after 38 years of service. Taylor loved his family as much as he loved golf! His biggest achievement was making 8 holes in one.

Taylor was preceded in death by his parents, Elvin and Lucy Cox; brother, Tommy Cox; and niece, Michelle Sellers.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 53 years, Mary; his daughter, Carrie Lach (Brandon), his son, Jason Cox (Tracy Naylor); 2 grandchildren, Chloe and Maggie Cox; sister, Sharon Yeast (Wilson), their daughter, Jennifer Munn; sister, Annita Caine (Charles), and sons, Jeremy and Joshua Likins; several extended family members and wonderful friends, especially his golf buddies.

Taylor chose cremation and A Celebration of Life will be held at The Crossings Golf Club, 205 Letts Rd. Brooks, KY 40109, on Sunday, July 28, 2024 from 1pm – 5pm.

Taylor’s family wish expressions of sympathy be directed to PGA HOPE, (comment "HOPE" In memory of Taylor Cox), Active Heroes, or any Veteran organization in lieu of flowers.
