Tara was filled to the brim with a quiet humor. Like an inside joke, you had to listen carefully, or you could miss it. She was great at quoting lines from movies at just the right time. Her voice was one of angels that brought people together and her captivating stage presence required no introduction as others were naturally drawn to her.
From the hours of nine to five, she worked as a Client Service Specialist at ADP. But when she was at home or on weekends, you'd often see her with a cup of coffee writing in her journal or watching a movie snuggled next to her children.
Tara enjoyed life's simplest pleasures and held a special fondness for the "Ber" months. She greeted Fall with the warm embrace of Bath & Body Works' Pumpkin Pecan Waffles scent and celebrated the advent of Christmas with the arrival of Little Debbie's Christmas Tree cakes. Given the choice, she would have happily immersed herself in the enchanting world of Disney year-round.
As someone close to her said, “To say that Tara will be missed is an incredible understatement. Those fortunate enough to have known her are reminded that life's celebration continues; she simply leads the party from a place just beyond our sight.”
Welcoming her at the gates of heaven was her father, Virgil (Butch) Wisdom, along with her grandparents and several beloved members from the Wisdom and Fowler families.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Harrison, and daughter, Amara. She is also survived by her mother, Lisa (Fowler) Wisdom; her sisters, Bridgett Hanlon (Josh), Jessica Botos, and Nichole Wisdom; her brother, Virgil Wisdom (Tabitha); her cherished nieces and nephews, affectionately known as "The O.G. and New Crew"; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and an abundance of friends.
A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, August 30, at 11:00 AM at Incarnation Catholic Church (2229 Lower Hunter Trace, Louisville) with cremation to follow. a visitation and Celebration Of Life will be on Tuesday August 29, from 3:00pm to 8:00pm Heady-Hardy Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that all donations be directed to the Gilda’s Club Kentuckiana, an organization close to Tara's heart.
May Tara's spirit continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she touched.
