Susie Logsdon

Susie Logsdon, 73 of Louisville passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014. Susie was born on April 6, 1941 in Louisville to the late Hubert and Lottie Hale. Susie retired from General Electric after 33 years of service.

She loved to travel with her cousin, Linda Simers, who was like a sister.

Susie is preceded in death by her grandson, Christopher Logsdon; parents, Hubert and Lottie Hale; and brother, Charles Hale.

Susie survived by her daughters, Tonya Hopper (Ronnie) and Kim Logsdon; honorary daughter, Betty Hodge; grandchildren, Nikki, Kaycee, Christen, and Travis Logsdon; great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Brayden, Jordan, and Bailey Logsdon; siblings, Pat Hale and Mike Hale (Maggie); cousin, Linda Simers (Richard); along with 1 nephew, 3 nieces, and a host of other cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12pm on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel, with Dignity Celebrant, Kathy Porter officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation for the public will be from 10am-12pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorial donations in honor of Susie may be directed to March of Dimes or United Way.
