Susan Agnes Person

Susan is survived by her loving husband and caregiver, David Person; her son Christopher (Rebecca); granddaughters Annabelle and Emersyn Person; brothers Edward (Theresa) Chady of Bartlett, TN, Stephen (Mary Pat) Chady of Broomfield, CO, and William (Bettye) Chady of Louisville, KY; sister Anne (Dennis) Monsour of Louisville, KY and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Doris and Edward Chady, brothers Robert and Thomas Chady and sister Mary Patricia Pavai.

Family meant everything to Susan. She was a loving wife and devoted mother and grandmother. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Louisville. She devoted many hours as a volunteer, her favorite at St. Ambrose Catholic School in Seymour, IN as a library assistant. Susan loved crafts, especially making ornaments and other plastic canvas items. She enjoyed traveling, particularly to Florida and Colorado, Louisville, and, more recently, cruises to the Caribbean. She loved animals, especially dogs and butterflies.

We love you and miss you dear Susan, and are grateful to you. We will always remember your bright smile, sense of humor, love and acceptance of everyone, and your generous willingness to help others.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Merritt Island, FL on Wednesday, October 25 at 11am, with visitation at the church prior to the Mass, from 10 to 11am. The Mass will be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person. See the church website (www.divinemercychurch.org) or Facebook page for details. Visitation and a prayer service will be held on Saturday, October 28 at Arch L Heady Funeral home (8519 Preston Highway in Louisville, KY) from 10-11, followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery (1600 Newburg Road in Louisville).
