Stanley E. Cissell Sr.,87, of Louisville passed away, Thursday November 13, 2014.
Born in Louisville to the late Roland and Dorothy Gilpin Cissell, Stanley was retired from General Electric, and the United States Army, where he proudly served in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam.
Stan is survived by his wife, Betty Bledsoe Cissell; daughter, Lydia (Charles) Johnson; son, Stanley E. Cissell Jr.; stepsons, David and Steve Gardner; two grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
A celebration of Stanley's Life will be noon Tuesday November 18, 2014 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will from 3-8pm Monday November 17, 2014 at the funeral home.
