Mr. and Mrs Cook and Billy: I remember Shannon as a fantastic athlete, one who could have easily gotten a scholarship in the college of her choice and gone professional at will in any sport of her choosing. And she never bragged about it. She was as smart as Theresa Brown and Michael Spine but never ground it in anyone's face.  I had so much fun at her sleep overs and Mrs. Cook put up with my silly stories with great patience as did Shannon. And of course Shannon was gorgeous, just like her mom. I remember her beating me at PacMan up at the Convenient store and then buying me an ice cold Coca Cola in a bottle after the clerk popped the top off of it behind the counter.  With Shannon, I had a great sports friend and Catholic who shared my faith.  I remeber her family just as well, they were all great sports with kind hearts.  Love you all. Shannons Family, Iam so sorry about Shannon.  I just heard today or I would have been there.  I am so sad right now.  I can't believe she is really gone.  I had not talk to her in a while but she was my good friend.  I will miss her dearly.  My heart goes out to all of you.

i will always remember babysitting shannon when she was around 3 or 4.i would spend part of the summer at phyl and billy's when they lived on hazelwood.she was adorable.i will miss her smile and humor.may she rest in peace.i love you phyl,billy and mike.my prayers are with you.
