Seth Edward Smith, 83, died Sunday, April 3, 2016 at University of Louisville Hospital. He was born June 9, 1932 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Phillip and Elina (Yancey) Smith. He was a US Army veteran and worked as a barber for many years.
He is survived by his children, Tony Smith, Kenny Smith (Elaine), Kim White, and Sethia Mitchell (William); brother, Bishop Francis P. Smith, Sr.; 10 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am Monday at Arch L. Heady and Son Southern Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Louisville, Kentucky 40215. His funeral service will be 11:00 am Monday at the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Lebanon National Cemetery in Lebanon, Kentucky.
