Sara Ann (Carter) Baker

She was born to the late Katie and Charles Carter. Her husband, Robert Paul Baker, sister, Betty Lucas, step-son, Robb Baker, and beloved nephew, John Lucas, also preceded her in passing.

Sara was a member of Audubon Park United Methodist Church. She retired as a bookkeeper from Fulltone Foto Company. Sara and her husband Paul loved to travel together and visited 49 states. Sara completed the 50th state trip to Alaska with her best friend, Grace Smith. She took yearly trips to Gatlinburg, Smokey Mountains, with her family. Her children, Carla Davidson (Richard), Sanda Cohen (Richard), and Brent Baker (Sandy), blessed her with 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, will carry on her memory.

Visitation will take place at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY from 12-2PM, on Wednesday, March 27th. A celebration of her life will follow visitation at 2pm in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven. Sara will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville KY 40218
