Sandra is preceded in death by her loving husband, Dale of 60 years; her son, Timothy; brothers, Kenneth and Larry and parents James and Iris Bradley.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Robin Shelton (Kim) and Tammy McNeill (Clay); grandchildren, Brynnan, Ashton, Santana, and Chris; great-grandson, Julian and several nieces and nephews.
Sandra was a woman of deep faith who loved attending Mass at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Parish.
Sandra was a strong woman who supported her husband in their Pepperidge Farm franchisee business for 45 years while raising three children. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Myrtle Beach, SC with their closest friends and many trips to Orange Beach, Alabama. She and Dale celebrated their 50th wedding Anniversary with an adventure to Alaska. Sandra also enjoyed fishing alongside the love of her life, and spending time with her family and many longtime friends.
Sandra was a fun loving lady who enjoyed the simple things in life like French Crullers from Dunkin’ Donuts, watching The Golden Girls, shopping and gift giving, long car rides, vintage automobiles, going to Kroger Field to cheer on her beloved Kentucky Wildcats, having a meal at a local restaurant or just sitting on her front porch and talking with her wonderful neighbors.
A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, 11:00 am, at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4005 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be after 10:00 am Wednesday until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made to Hosparus Health of Louisville, 6200 Dutchmans Lane, Louisville, KY 40205.
