Sandra "Sandy" Kay Hill

Sandra Kay “Sandy” Hill, 69, was born on February 18, 1954 in Louisville to the late William R. and Katherine Rose (Cofer) Anderson and passed away on August 29, 2023. Sandy was retired from CDC Distributors and a Catholic by faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Anderson and a niece Melissa (Miller) Walker. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Richard “Rick” Hill; a son Brian Sturgill (Christine); step daughters, Andrea Leigh Hill- Smith (Barry) and Melissa Ann Hill-Novak (Mike); siblings, Daryl Anderson (Chrystel) and Carol Miller; grandchildren, Natalie, Nikolas, Emaleigh, Zachary, Ryan, and Katelyn; a niece, Dawn and nephews, Brent, Roman, and Paul David; along with several great nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. Funeral services for Sandy will be held at 10 am EST Saturday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with burial to follow at 12:30 pm EST at the Horsley Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery in Hardinsburg, KY. Visitation will be on Friday from 2-8 pm.
