Sally Lorraine Johnson of Louisville, KY, loving wife and mother, passed away in her sleep on Tuesday May 5, 2020. She was 55 years old.
Sally was born on September 30, 1964 in Louisville, KY to James and Dolores (Kurtsinger) Quiggins. She married Kenneth Wayne Johnson on April 21, 1984. They raised two children together: Kenneth Patrick Johnson and Evan James William Johnson.
Sally worked as a medical assistant for over twenty years. But her family was the joy of her life. She encouraged her sons to excel in education from a young age, and made a point of attending every graduation from preschool to college. She enjoyed traveling with her family, and preferred anywhere with a beach, from the Caribbean to northern Indiana. Sally provided full-time in-home care to her mother in the final years of her life until her mother’s passing at the age of 95 in 2015.
Sally was preceded in death by her father, James, her mother, Dolores, and her brother, Gerald. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth, and her sons, Kenneth and Evan.
