She was born to the late Lillian and William Neal Burks, of Louisville, Kentucky. Her siblings; Peter Paul, Norma Jean, Martha Bell, James Neal (Nellie), and Thomas Monroe, also preceded her in passing.
Ruth was a free spirited woman who lived life to the fullest, making friends everywhere she went. She always tried to attend the 1960 Presentation Academy graduate class luncheon every month. Ruth was a former employee of the Presbyterian Church in Louisville, Kentucky.
Here to cherish her memory is her sister, Billie Mae, nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, along with great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
A visitation for Ruth will be held Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218, followed by a graveside service at 12:00 PM, within Resthaven Memorial Park.
