Ronald Young

Ron was a retired automotive technician for Sears, a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (and formerly Sts. Simon and Jude) where he was active in the Men’s Club and volunteered as an usher and Eucharistic Minister. He was formerly a member of the Knights of Columbus and he was veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann Loeser Young; and siblings Mary V. Foster, James T. Young Jr., Charles G. Young, Harlan G. Young, Edward D. Young, Kenneth B. Young, and Robert L. Young. Survivors include his children Ronald D. Young, Jr (Lisa), Victoria Agamemnonos (Michael), and Rebecca Young; grandchildren Panayiota Smeathers (John), Athanasis Agamemnonos (Caroline), Wesley Young (Brittany), and Justin Young; and great-grandchildren Marianna, Aria, Cayden, Maren, and Mila.

Per his wishes, cremation was chosen. A memorial Mass will be held at Most Blessed Sacrament Church at 10:00 am Friday, February 23. His ashes will be buried at St. Michaels Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Most Blessed Sacrament Church Men’s Club or the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
