Ronald Lee “Ronnie” Williams, 80, was born on March 1, 1943 in Louisville to the late Winston and Mary Laverne (Wegenast) Williams, and passed away on Friday June 2, 2023 at Harrison Springs Health Campus in Corydon, IN. with his family at his side. Ronnie was a Golden Gloves Champion and traveled to Chicago and held the Fly Weight title from 1961 to 1964. He was a 1961 Graduate of the old Flaget High School, and he served as a Drill Sergeant in the US Army. He married his loving wife Patricia Ann Stucker in 1978. She preceded him in death on 12/5/2019. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby and David Williams. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Kevin Williams, Traci Corby (Gary Corby) and Mary Ann Hines (Scott Smith); a brother Tommy Williams; grandchildren, Khylee Ann Williams, Cody Lee Main (Kaylea), Olivia Lee Hines, Zachery Lee Main, Khloe Ann Hines; and great grandchildren, Zeke Aiden Main, Lily Iris Main, and Kaidynce Marceline Gabbard. Cremation of the remains was chosen. A visitation will be held from 4-8 pm on Tuesday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. A memorial service with military honors will be at 7 pm.
