Ronald "Ronnie" Lee Knott

Ronald “Ronnie” Lee Knott, 67 of Fairdale, passed from this life and returned to his creator on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Hosparus of Louisville. He was born on March 22, 1950. He was retired from General Electric and worked at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts after retirement. Ronnie enjoyed playing trivia, pool, cards, bowling, fishing, and golfing with his buddies and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge as well as an avid Kentucky Wildcat fan.

He is preceded in his death by his parents, Frank and Elizabeth Goodman Knott and sister, Geraldine "Ginny" Winstead.

Ronnie will be lovingly remembered by his surviving family; his wife of 33 years, Teresa Bevars Knott; daughter, Kelly Putty (Kevin); sons, Tony and Jason; grandchildren, Aaron, Austin and Allysan Putty, Laiken and Cambren Terry, Mandy McIntosh, Dylan and Lexi Sheehan, and Kaelin Knott, and great-grandchildren, Kaden McIntosh, Karleigh Sheehan, and Braylen Durham. Survivors also include his brothers Wilson (Carolyn) Winstead and Jerry Winstead, and sister, Bobbie Jean Goodman.

Funeral Services will be held 12:00 Monday at Evergreen Funeral Home with interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2-8pm Sunday.
