Originally from the Portland area, he was a retired machinist for the old Naval Ordnance where he had served as union steward, and was later a supervisor for BAE Systems. He enjoyed golf and was an avid UK fan.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Fritsch Duvall; daughters Rebecca Doyle (Kevin), Angela Rymer (Jerry), and Kacie Lowden (Derrick); step-daughter, Denna Watson (Chuck); step-son, Donnie Alvey; his mother, Mary F. Duvall; siblings, Thomas Duvall, Elizabeth Carlisle, Wanda Breeden, and Michael Duvall; and 11 grandchildren, Alaina, Jonathon, Tre’, Hannah, Matthew, Isabelle, Jackson, Eli, Gabe, Aydin, and Joelle.
His funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, followed by cremation. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until time of the service Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the James Graham Brown Cancer Center.
