Ronald Frank Cooper

He was a Sergeant with the Louisville Police Department and retired after twenty five years of service. After retirement, Ron earned his Realtors license and was employed with Vista Realty. He was a member at L&N country club, enjoyed playing golf, riding his Harley, fishing and was an avid UK Fan.

Ron is preceded in death by the love of his life: Bonnie Uebelhoer, his parents, DeLoyd and Betty Cooper, his sister: Jean Pearce and his widow: Joanie Chesher.

He is survived by his daughter: Rhonda Steinemann (Tim), brothers: DeLoyd Cooper Jr. (Sharron), Everett Jason Cooper, sister: Beverly Hubbard (Robert), grandchildren: Kenedie, Cooper and Keatyn.

A funeral service to celebrate Ron’s Life will be conducted at 7:30 pm Thursday, May 14, 2015 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. The Fraternal Order of the Police will conduct a service at 7pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 3-8 pm Thursday, May 14, 2015.
