Roger Dale Hodge, age 64 passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. He was born May 10, 1958 the son of Dale Hodge and Doris Sparrow Hodge. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and family man. Roger was a devoted minister and the longest serving pastor of 37 years at Cove Baptist Church, serving in the ministry for a total of 42 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, together 48 years, Monica Watson Hodge, one daughter, Stephanie Leigh Hodge, one son, Roger Matthew Hodge and one granddaughter, Addison Noelle Sheehan (Kendra Sheehan).
Funeral service will begin at 12 noon in the chapel at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 20, 2022.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until the service time of 12 noon on Tuesday, December 20, 2022.
