Rodney Wayne Brewer

During his life, Rodney was a Vietnam veteran in the U.S. Army and later worked on the line at GE for many years. He always had a passion and affinity for art and had a truly creative mind. When he wasn’t drawing, he was crafting something intricate or working on a puzzle. He also enjoyed racing motorcycles and racecars at the Louisville Motor Speedway. He had a huge heart and loved caring for animals and people. He would oftentimes take in and feed stray cats in the neighborhood. He was a loving father and grandfather, and wouldn’t hesitate to do anything for anyone.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Harold Victor “Vic” Brewer Jr. He is survived by his daughter Michelle Brewer, grandson Alex Brewer, brother Joe Brewer (June), as well as his niece and nephews, and extended family and friends.

A memorial gathering for Rodney will take place Sunday, July 21 2024 from 12pm to 4pm at Arch L. Heady & Son – Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave, Louisville, KY 40206, followed by military funeral honors starting at 3:30pm at the funeral home.
