Robin Darlene Sexton

Robin Darlene Sexton 57, of Louisville, joined our father in heaven May 7, 2019 at 4:51 P.M. at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown Ky. Robin was born October 24 1961 in Louisville. Robin was met at the gates of heaven by her parents Robert and Helen Staples.

She has left behind to cherish her memory her two daughters; Alissa Sexton, Rebecca Jewell (Justin) both of Louisville, eight grandchildren; Lily Sexton, Daniel, Jordan, Tyler Taylor, Christian Haberman, Angel, Evona and Richard Shaker, Robin is also survived by her ex-husband Randle Sexton her significant other Leslie Bassham her siblings Karen and Steve McGuire all of Louisville.

Robin enjoyed family time, drinking coffee, her cats they were her fur babies. Robin chose cremation a memorial service will be held at a later date. Here is a poem from Robin.

If I had to choose between breathing and loving you

I would use my last breath

to tell you I love you.

Now a prayer.

Heavenly father as mother joins you in heaven, thank you for taking her pain away, and letting her rest in peace. Please let her know we miss and love her every day, help her watch over us and keep us safe. Let her know we will shed a bunch of tears because we miss her, but we will be okay, for she shouldn’t worry because we know she is always with us in our hearts forever and always, and we will see her soon. Until then enjoy every little thing and stay happy. We love you mommy! We pray in Jesus name. Amen.
