Mr. Robert D. "Bob" White

WHITE, ROBERT D. "BOB," 73, entered eternal life peacefully on Sunday, May 30, 2010 at the Signature Healthcare South. He was a former owner of the O. D. White & Sons Funeral Home and the old All American Limousine Company, a 50-year member and Past Master of the Suburban Lodge 740 F & AM and a lifetime member of South Louisville Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, O. D. and Idella White. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Beverly Ann White; his children, Cathy L. Bell (Dave), Laura A. Saylor (Dennis) and Doug White (Ronda); grandchildren, Nicole Bennett (Kyle), Lindsey Bow (Doug), Megan O'Steen (Patrick), Ryan Brown, Natalie Young and Langdon Saylor; great-grandchildren, Kylie and Kameron Bennett, Brayden Bow and Hunter O'Steen; his brother, Melvin L. White (Valeria); three nephews and two nieces and their families. A celebration of Bob's life will be held noon Friday at the O. D. White & Sons Funeral Home with interment at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Wednesday 4-8 p.m. and Thursday, noon- 8 p.m. at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be held on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. A reception will be held at the funeral home following the graveside service. Bob's family would like to thank Dr. Omoruyi and the staff at Signature Healthcare South for all their love and kindness during his stay.
