Robert Eugene Pierce 85 formerly of Crescent Hill, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015. He and his wife have resided for the past few years at Masonic Homes of KY. He was born, October 26, 1929 to the late Robert C. and Ruth Smith Pierce. He was a retired District Sales Manager for Continental/Sysco Food and a retired bus driver with JCPS. He was a 53 yr. member of Crescent Hill Lodge # 456, and Evangel Christian Life Center.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Patricia J. Pierce, his children;
Terry L. Powell (Eddie), David W. Pierce, Robert D. Pierce, Pamela J. Pierce, and Brian K. Pierce (Linda). His brother William Pierce, and his 5 grandchildren; Scott Pierce- Majors , Brandon Pierce-Carlton, Cassie Pierce, Bradley and Dalton Pierce, and one great-grandchild Titus Majors.
A service to celebrate Mr. Pierce’s life will be held at 10 am, Friday, in the chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle, 2428 Frankfort Ave. with interment to follow at Cave Hill. Visitation will be held, 4-8 pm, Thursday, with a masonic service at 7:30 pm.
