Robert Milton

He was born September 13, 1931 in Hatton, KY, the son of Walter and Agnes Milton.

Bob was a retired Lt. Col. for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department. He was also a founder and past president of the Black Mudd Little League and Rangeland Babe Ruth and was an early member of the Black Mudd Fire Department. He was also involved with the Thomas Jefferson High School Booster Club and a member of the F.O.P Lodge #25 and Masonic Lodge #940.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Walter Allen Milton; and one sister, Evelyn Feagan.

Survivors include his children, Michael Milton (Jill), Mark Milton (Margaret), Sharon Milton and Phyllis Burkhead (Carl); eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Judy Burton.

A service to celebrate Bob’s life will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 21, 2013 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady and Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
