Robert E. Kiser, Sr. of Louisville, KY formerly of Springfield, MO, passed on May 28, 2021 at the age of 83. He is a U.S. Army veteran.
Bob had diverse careers during his many working years including Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corporation and commercial ice machine sales. He was very proud of his short time with the St. Louis Cardinals and his 18 major league at bats.
Bob is survived by his wife, Brenda; sons, Robert Jr. (Katie) and Scott; daughter, Kris and step-daughter, Sarah Compton (Britt Stripling) and seven grandchildren. Also survived by a brother, Gus, and sister, Debi Harper as well as many extended family members and friends he dearly loved.
At his request, there will be no public celebration of life. Private burial will be at Cave Hill.
